Hello from the Nowak family! We're so happy you came to visit Giving Families. This website is a passion of ours, and was borne out of our experience of becoming parents and raising our children only to realize that there are surprisingly few resources available for families who want to teach their children to give back. If you have kids, you know that children have an innate sense of generosity—but unfortunately, our culture teaches them to indulge their selfish side and only focus on receiving.
As a family that has been on the receiving end of incredible support and generosity from people around us, and as individuals who have learned the incredible value of becoming generous people, it is our dream that Giving Families would empower families to change the future of our world by sharing moments of generosity with their children. We would love to have you join us!
When we share moments of giving with children, we change the future of our world. This is our mantra, and we believe it with everything we are. Children are our future, and if we teach them to be generous, we will make the world a better place.
Not only do we strive to teach generosity to children, we hope to create an environment where kids and parents can engage in the act of generosity together. With this in mind, we've created a website that's easy and fun to use for all ages.
As part of our overall goal to create a world with more generous people in it, we strive to support organizations doing great things in their communities. We are constantly looking for new organizations to feature on the site so please suggest any deserving charities or non-profits that you know of!
