Giving Families is all about trying to help others and one of the MOST exciting ways we're trying to do that is by working with Goodwill.  

I recently had the chance to visit with Kim Leppert at Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries to learn more about the services they offer; my experience that day was one of the most emotional and inspiring ones I've had in a LONG time!  In the past, my only connection with Goodwill has been through donations (outgrown clothes, old toys, etc.)...so I was excited to tour their facility with Kim and learn about all of the REAL services Goodwill is providing! 

Their motto is 'we put people to work!'...and do they ever!!!  Through their Industrial Services Division, Goodwill provides a safe working environment for those that are disabled by allowing them to be productive and social at the same time; I have never witnessed so many hard-working, happy and prideful employees in my life!!! Goodwill employees are providing services for companies both large and small - companies like Ford, Proctor & Gamble, and Giving Families:)...no job is too big or too small.
