Credits can be donated to charities of your choosing. 

A small surcharge of 5% is added to the credit amount you select; this helps cover credit card processing fees and operating expenses.

After the 5% surcharge, your credits carry a 1:1 dollar-to-credit ratio and charities receive 100% of the credit amount you choose to give them.

Giving Families does NOT charge charities to be featured on the platform.
